hearts and kidneys, pacemakers, artificial hips, surgical lasers, automated
patient monitors and blood chemistry sensors

$143,000

things they never thought they could.

911
Memorial
On September 11, 2001 four
planes were hijacked by a group associated with the al-Qaeda. One plane crashed
on a field in Pennsylvania, another crashed into the Pentagon just outside
Washington DC. The last two planes crashed into the World Trade Center in
Manhattan, New York. Over 3,000 people were killed on 911 including police and
firefighters. 13 years later people from around the country give their prayers
and respect to the all the innocent people who died on this tragic day. I first
heard of the attacks of 911 in the second grade when they showed us two pictures
of New York City one before the disaster and one after. They asked us what we
seen different in the pictures and then followed up explaining what happened
on September 11, 2001.Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Obedience
Obedience, is a form of "social influence in which a person yields
to explicit instructions or orders from an authority figure".

To be obedient is:
·
listening
to your mother the FIRST time she tells you to throw out the trash.
·
A
dog listening to its owner
·
A team
following directions given by the coach

Student
Success Statement
“What you
are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player.”
John Wooden
This quote means that you can be the
greatest basketball player ever but it still won’t mean anything outside from
the court. It wouldn't be important to the type of person you really are, you
will only be able to play basketball for a certain amount of time after that
you have nothing.
Athletic
Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities: Athletic trainers specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating
muscle and bone injuries and illnesses.
Salary: $35,000-$75,000 per year
Education: Certification of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of
Certification
I actually wouldn’t mind becoming an
athletic trainer. The fact that it’s not a job sitting in an office makes it
seem interesting.
