Student Success Statement
“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”
Thomas Carlyle

A ship without a rudder will have no direction and wont go where it’s supposed to. Similar to a person without a goal, they won’t have any direction in life. They’ll end up lost and deserted.

Life Planning Progress

I have achieved 24 out of 106 of my goals. My progress hasn’t been that great because I set a lot of long term goals rather than things I can just do on a normal day. Although, the goals I have achieved were meaningful to me so im still pretty proud. I look forward to coming up with more goals and achieving them.

World Records
1.Largest collection of clocks

The largest collection of clocks belongs to Jack Schoff of the U.S., who has 1,094 different clocks as of June 17, 2008.
2.Largest chalk pavement art

The largest chalk pavement art measures 8,361.31 meters (90,000 feet) and was created by 5,678 children from schools in Alameda, Calif., for the Kids’ Chalk Art Project between May 27 and June 7, 2008.

The record that fascinated me the most is the street art one. I take interest in this record because it was done surprisingly well by children. It’s not important to me if do or don’t ever break a record in my life but it is nice to be recognized for a special ability.

Student Success Statement
“In life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where goalposts are.”
Arnold H. Glasgow

I think in life if you aren’t aiming for something you want then why are you living? If you don’t have something motivating you or pushing you to try harder everyday then you’re going to be stuck. You can only move forward if you want to, that’s why it’s important to set goals for yourself.
