Final pt2
A.                    What I like about this class is the goals book, I have accomplish many things with the guidance of it. I don’t like the little amount of free time we got.
B.                    To make this class better we should be allowed more free time, we should also be allowed to sit where we’d like.
C.                             I think did my best in this class, it wasn’t so difficult so I don’t see how someone can do bad in this class.
D.                   I am reading my life planning goals book, I also add to it and put “victory” on things I accomplish.
E.                            I am committed to being a CTR person because I want to have a good future.

F.      I promise to take responsibility for my Body-Mind-Spirit, I will make the right choices for my present and future. I will also take responsibility if I chose the wrong and suffer the consequences.
Interdisciplinary Unit Experience

I was given my group during English class; we did not get to choose who we wanted in our group. We were assigned to do our project on lung cancer. At first my group and I procrastinated a lot. Once we realized we were running out of time we got to work. We struggled with a place and time to meet up, but we finished our PowerPoint in enough time. In our practice presentation with Ms.Ross our flash drive didn’t work so we didn’t get a chance to practice, which made us even more nervous. Finally came showcase night and our time to present was at 5:30. They called us in to present and one of group members wasn’t there so someone else took over his slide. In the end we all felt extremely relieved and our grade was ¾.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”
 Abraham Lincoln

This quote is saying that if I choose to do wrong I will always feel bad but if I choose to do right I will always feel good. For example if I choose to do drugs I might feel good at the moment when I’m doing drugs but later in life I will always feel bad. If I choose not to do drugs later in life I will feel good for making a good choice by staying away from drugs.

You Are in Charge
“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
Mr.Haymore

One must be responsible for their well-being in all aspects of their lives. This includes their body, making sure they're healthy and strong for all needs. Their mind, being mentally strong is far more important as it assures you'll get through the day and keep up with others academically and physically. Finally, being spiritually well keeps you well in faith and hope for your life and goals. All three general points of oneself should be kept strong and healthy.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”

Richard L. Evans

The biggest issue when starting something new is whether or not you continue with it. This quote is saying we need the courage to continue to with the good things and stop with the bad. The bad things are so hard to give up because they’re so easy to do but somehow we need to find the courage to give it up.

Patrick

I think that Patrick the little boy chose the wrong because he didn’t have to get stung by the scorpion but because of his wrong choice he did. His parents told him to put shoes on but he was too lazy and disobeyed. The lesson that is being shown here is to always listen to your parents and do the right thing because they are telling you for a good reason.

“Always do right.”

Mark Twain

When you Tell One Lie it leads to Another
Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you can tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You're in trouble up to your ears!
So you can tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won't suspect
                                     you
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you cant remember how many lies
                                     you’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometime you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up
                                    and then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep
multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know
                                    you’re lying
                        Then you’ll be
                           Suspected
                            Detected
                            Rejected
                           Neglected
                             Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door

On everything good

Always speak the truth

Lying can get you into big trouble. Telling a lie is so much more difficult than telling the truth because when lying you have to remember you story(ies). But if you tell the truth you won’t because you know what really happened.

Physical Fitness
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: the intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
-President John F. Kennedy

This quote makes sense because a healthy body means a healthy mind. Physical fitness is necessary to have a healthy body, creating a healthy, intellectual mind.
